Supreme Court Announces Committee Appointments, Reappointments, Liberal’s Mendoza Appointed

Marla Luckert, the Chief Justice of TOPEKA, signed the orders designating and re-designating members to two committees. Education Committee for Municipal Court Clerks Programs for municipal court clerks’ education and training are suggested and coordinated by the Municipal Court Clerks Education Committee. Additionally, the Municipal Court Clerks Manual is reviewed and updated.

The group consists of the president and former president of the Kansas Association for Court Management, court clerks or administrators, and a nonvoting representative from the Office of Judicial Administration. They are in service till June 30, 2028:

Cynthia Beltran, Garden City’s coordinator for courts and defendants, was appointedAshley Madden, Carbondale’s municipal court clerk, was appointedKarla Mendoza, a Liberal municipal court clerk, was assignedDouglass’s municipal court clerk, Brittany Nordstedt, was appointedMike Cichowicz, an education specialist, was appointed as a nonvoting representative for the Office of Judicial Administration.
