Next week, Liberal will appear much more vibrant. Karem Gallo, a community mural artist, will shortly be painting on Light Park’s Mural Wall.
The City is encouraging everyone to enjoy the mural, whose artwork was made possible by locals who helped choose its theme and design.
The mural dedication will take place in Light Park during the community’s Fourth of July celebration at 11:30 a.m. To hear from the artist and find out more about the project, meet at Light Park’s mural wall north of Adventure Bay Family Water Park. Everyone is welcome to come and snap pictures.
The National Endowment for the Arts provided some funding for this project to the Kansas Arts Commission.
