Tuesday afternoon and evening at Regis University in Denver, the Liberal Bee Jays defeated the Colorado Roughriders 16–6 by a run rule after hitting nine extra base hits.The Bee Jays took the lead with two goals in the third. Olivarez Larry singled. Grego doubled on drugs. Off the wall in left, Justin Hudson blew a double with two RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, the Roughriders responded with four runs. There were two unearned runs and two earned runs. They led 4-2, scoring on two hit batters, four hits, and one error. The Bee Jays took a 5–4 lead after making a three in the fourth. Bruce Landon singled. The game was tied at 4-4 when Jacob Ortega hit a two-run home ball to the tree in right. To take a 5-4 lead, Matt Bernath hit and scored the game-winning RBI single on Drew Grego. The fifth inning started with a home run by Drew Garcia. After stealing second, Landon Bruce singled. He was singled home by Matt Bernath to give the team a 7-4 advantage. To start the sixth, Drew Grego hooked a triple to right. He was doubled home by Justin Hudson to give them an 8-4 lead. The Bee Jays increased their lead to 11–4 with a three-pointer in the seventh. Drew Grego and Matt Bernath both singled. To left center, Justin Hudson hit a three-run home run. In the ninth, Liberal added five. Jack Ryan doubled home two, while Landon Bruce doubled. Matt Bernath hit a single. Justin Hudson hit a double. A run was singled home by Carson Willis.Epic Touch Player of the Game was Justin Hudson. He had three doubles, seven RBIs, and a home run while batting 5-6.
