SEWARD COUNTY ROAD AND BRIDGE DEPARTMENT WILL START THE FINISHING PHASE OF WORK ON SEWARD COUNTY ROAD O ON MONDAY, JUNE 30, 2025. In order to improve the road for everyone who uses it, they will begin incorporating the hardening agent. Crews will start at County Road 4 on Road O and work their way north in mile increments to Highway 54. As they complete each section, this will necessitate closing certain portions of the road to traffic. There isn’t a completion date to go by at this time. Local residents are asked to exercise caution when entering and exiting on Road O and to keep an eye out for machinery and work crews.
