The Oklahoma Travelers defeated the Liberal Rattlers 9-0 on Thursday night in Weatherford thanks to a walkoff two-run home run from Turpin’s Jhett Huffman against his old squad.The Travelers scored two goals in the sixth quarter, three in the fourth, one in the third, and three in the first. The Rattlers were outscored 11–5. Bentlee Betts hit a booming double to right center to put himself at 2-2. It was 2-3 for Alex Schwindt. A double was added by Blayden Betts. Liberal, who are 2–6, will play the Burkburnett Blacksox at 4:45 on Friday afternoon in Weatherford and the Oklahoma Mudcats at 2.
