On Monday night, the USD 480 Board of Education convened at East Campus. The Board approved the proposed EBBG cardiac emergency response planning policy in New Business.
The Board then authorized Shawnee Mission Ford’s quotations for the purchase of two half-ton pickups and one cargo van, totaling $156,821.
The modifications to the Supplemental Salary were also accepted. These modifications are for SPED and 504 purposes.
A Memorandum of Understanding with Newman University was approved. This will make it possible for Newman University to acquire clinical facilities for students enrolled in the Graduate School of Social Work’s various programs.
The Board authorized the $14,553.00 quote from Lee’s Heating and Air for the repair of the walk-in refrigerator at the LHS cafeteria, as well as the $57,460.00 Microsoft Renewal.
The Board authorized a $79,000 renewal of student accident insurance from Gallagher Special Risk for the 2025–2026 academic year.
